HIMSS NCA Lunch and Learn Webinar - "The Importance of User Experience in Health IT"

The first lHIMSS NCA unchtime webinar of the 2015 will take place on Wed, Feb 25, 2015 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EST and will focus how to understand what users want and how they want it, and design and build tools and apps that actually get used.

One of the singular challenges in health IT and health data is complexity, and one of the biggest barriers to realizing the benefits of all the advancements in Health IT and the increased availability of health data is the tools we are building are too complex to be useful to the demanding types of users we are targeting (clinicians, researchers, decision-makers, policymakers, etc). This session will describe how to build UX into a wide range of technology initiatives to design and build more effective products.

The webinar will include a Q&A session and will welcome an open dialogue in which all participants can share their insights, observations, and comments on healthcare in the cloud, the challenges and the opportunity.
