The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) presents the 3rd Annual Consumer Health IT Summit in Washington DC
The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) invites you save the date and join them in D.C. (or online) on September 16 2013 to learn about public and private sector led advancements to equip and empower patients to better manage their health in a digital era. The Summit is free, but space is limited in the Great Hall and available on a first come, first serve basis. The Main Event will be webcast for those unable to join in person. The summit will be a time for ONC to share new programs and initiatives, as well as celebrate the successes of the public-private community that is part of the Blue Button movement. "We've really been seeing the benefit of having informed, engaged patients," says Ms. Makar. Blue Button, for example, "represents a step forward in a patient's relationship with providers," she says, "and consumers and patients will begin to see some very exciting innovations come as a result."
